Why do we have a Privacy Policy?

At garagetees.net, your privacy is our priority. In order to complete an online transaction, garagetees.net needs to collect information from the customer.  We provide this notice in order to better protect your information and to explain how this information is used. 

What information do we collect?

We need to collect information as it pertains to an online transaction. When ordering a product through our web site, you will need to disclose you name, address, and contact information (phone number or email).  If you are sending something directly to another party, i.e. as a gift, you will also need to disclose that party’s information as well. We do not collect and/or store any debit or credit card information, as this is handled through our agreement with Pay Pal.  We believe that they offer the best security measures for your credit or debit information and our agreement with Pay Pal allows garagetees.net to avoid the use of an encryption and SSL certification.  If you are worried about the security of your information when purchasing, please consult Pay Pal’s policy and security measures.  You do not need to be a member of Pay Pal to use them for checkout purposes on garagetees.net.

What do we do with the information we collect?

As it applies to all the information submitted to garagetees.net for the purpose of an online transaction, we will collect and used that information provided only to complete that specific order.  If you choose to set up an account with garagetees.net, we will catalog and store your information, retaining it only to ease and facilitate in you repeat orders.

Garagetees.net uses your submitted information only to the extent necessary to complete your order.   We will not share information with any outside party unless it is necessary so that your order is completed, i.e. your address will be giving to reputable shipping agencies.  Second party information is used only to ship and confirm delivery for that order.

We will use return email addresses only to communicate with the customer.  All addresses are used for this purpose only, we will not store non-member emails and will never share any email address we receive with outside parties.

If, for the purpose on advertising our exposure, we provide information to an outside party, that information will not contain any identifiable personal facts about our customers, but will be a broad scope of our customer base only.  Never will an individual be exposed or identifiable through the information we disclose for such purposes.

Cookies, do you use them/ what do they do?

In order to facilitate easier use of our website, garagetees.net may set and access cookies on your computer.  If you do not want these to be set and accessed you may disable them in your browser.  However, disabling garagetees.net cookies may interfere with your ability to access certain features of the web site.

Cookies are pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer's hard drive, which identify you when you enter. The ability to select samples on our site is not cookie-driven. We may use session cookies to provide a seamless experience on the site and to combine with our log files so that we can understand our site traffic and analyze our demographic information in aggregate form. If you have set your browser to reject cookies, our site will not identify you when you enter and you will need to manually type in your ID and password.

What is our Use of Log Files?

When you visit our site we automatically log your IP address, your browser type and your access times. We utilize this information to conduct site performance evaluations, to see where visitors are coming from and to keep track of click stream data (the screens our users visit on our site). This data helps us to determine what content our members find most appealing so that we can maximize your enjoyment of the site. Log files are not tied to personally identifiable information.

Does your privacy policy apply to the links embedded in you Website?

No. This Web site contains links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you may be leaving garagetees.net and entering another Web site. These sites may independently collect or request information about you and we encourage you to read the privacy statements of these linked sites as their privacy policy may differ from ours.

Communication

From time to time we may send out email messages alerting our members that new products or prices are available, to remind you about providing feedback, or for promotional offers. In addition, all users may receive communication from us 1) if you contact us for a particular reason, 2) to receive your orders, or 3) we need to contact you for administrative purposes. Administrative e-mails will not contain promotional materials.

Supplementation

We may correct or supplement your address information with standardized postal representation in order to ensure that your orders are delivered. We do this since we want to make sure that our members receive the order and to lower costs associated with our programs.

Children’s privacy

Garagetees.net does not actively try to target any audience.  Nonetheless, we will never willing collect or store identifiable information submitted to our website from those known to be under the age of 13.  If it is found out that such information has been received without the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian we will take appropriate action to delete it immediately.

Legal Disclaimer

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
